Quick question, hoping someone can clarify for me. This seems to imply that the appstore works on 5.x but from what I've read it requires 3.0.0 FW. Do we still need to have 3.0.0 for the appstore or does it indeed work on 5.x?

Thanks!

Edit: NVM answered my own question. This does indeed work on 5.x (at least 5.0.2 for me), you just have to turn on your wifi so it can download the needed stuff.

Hi
Don't know if anyone mentioned this but the hbmenu included does not support touch hence not the latest one. Maybe you could edit the zip file and include that one @tomGER?

It does support touch with the newest update ._. Make sure you're on v1.2

EDIT: Rechecked, yup it does :)

Hmmm it didn't work for me either? I'm on v2.0?
Try deleting the hblauncher.nro on your root and adding the v1.2 launcher again - I'm 100% sure that it is the v2.1 Homebrew Touchscreen Supported Launcher

EDIT: Asked ReSwitched users, they had it too - Must be something on your side

will this work on 5.0.2? how do I activate nx-dreport

All your questions were answered in the post:

1. Yes - Every firmware currently released is supported
2. 3rd launch option in hekate

Follow the usage guide and make sure that you downloaded the newest version

uh...what? which 3rd option?

uh...what? which 3rd option?

Click on "Launch" in Hekate, you'll be greeted by 3 different launch options:

Stock

CFW

Clear Logs <- Select that one

If that's not the case then make sure that you have actually installed it by deleting everything except your /Nintendo/ and /switch/ folder and drop the files of the newest Github Release onto your SD again

A new version (with the newest builds) of SDfiles.zip since the version people are using is pretty old and doesn't support 5.1.
It's also easier to find updated files since I'll hopefully always update the GitHub with the newest builds!

I DID NOT MAKE ANY OF THESE, I JUST COMPILED THEM

So why the new release are you asking yourself? It's fairly simple, the SDfiles.zip that came with Hekate-5.x is so old that people are reporting a lot of problems that have already been fixed and that is kinda sad since this problem is actually fixable by providing a place where you can be sure that you're downloading the latest builds and don't encounter old problems.

Works on ALL current firmwares

Featuring:

-Parts of Atmosphere
-Homebrew Menu
-Homebrew Loader
-nx-dreport (as a third launch option in hekate to clear logs)
-AppstoreNX
-Gag-Order

How to use:

1. Download the newest hekate build
2. Put the content of the ZIP onto the root of your SD
3. Start the hekate payload via your launcher of choice
4. Success

Changelog:

v1:
  • Inital Release
v1.00001:
  • Small but yet again important fix
v1.2:
  • Added little info to the hekate launch options to make it easier to help people
  • Added a forked version of the Homebrew Menu by Steven Mattera with touch screen support (Thanks to CTCaer for recommending it)
  • Added Gag-Order by Adubbz with some custom changes

Thank you! I downloaded your files and they work perfect. I hope u will hold your package up-to-date.
With this files I'm able to load games in the cfw.

Switch's filesystem service has this bug since ever.

Connect your sd card to a windows PC and select everything inside.
Right click, properties, advanced, disable "folder/file is ready for archiving". Done.
this should be stickied
first try didnt work
but after doing this and clearing the nxlog it worked for me on 4.01
@tomGER

also
if i remove sd card while on sleep to add more games, do i need to go thru the whole rcm thing again?

Yup, you sadly have to since the Switch doesn't allow you to take the SD out while booted
