Hey all,

I would appreciate any help... I've been trying to get custom results music for MKWii to work but can't find any sort of tutorial whatsoever. Not even Custom Mario Kart Wiiki has anything helpful... Any ideas? Thanks

If you have the MKWii original disc, a simple way to get custom music to work is to install CTGP Revolution v1.03 (last update 2018-05-29) on an SD card and put your music files (* .brstm, revo_kart.brsar ) in the My Stuff folder (SD:/ctgpr/My Stuff). Then launch CTGP Revolution and set the My Stuff folder to be on, but with no track replacements enabled.

Here are some links that you may find useful:

ok... but what should the files be named!?

weird how all around online no one has a clear answer on adding your own music to this mod

I'm not sure what each of the files should be called, but it differs depending on what you want to change. You get a music file that you want to use, and place it in the My Stuff folder. Then rename your file to whatever the file is originally called in MKWii.
For example, if you wanted to make a texture hack of Luigi Circuit appear in the game instead of the original version, you need to call your texture hack file 'beginner_course' because that's what the file for Luigi Circuit was called in the original MKWii.
Just find out the file name for the song you're wanting to replace and call your new song that.
