Wish I had another sd card to test this. I already have a 256 gb one with a fat32 partion and an ext4 partion for Switch/linux, but i don't want to have to redownload all my games and have everything wiped after the etcher flash.
Cool stuff though, and nice progress!

Wait, how did you got it to work? I thought SDXC (so more Micro SDs bigger than 32GB) are not supported by Kernel right now?

Idk, I have a near 100% success rate but sometimes it acts wonky.

Also, I'm pretty sure I had accidentally reused the old image to flash to my SD which is why the joysticks weren't working. Sorry about the confusion there, everything is working as it should now. Now to test all these N64 games.

There should not be any Image.gz with Lakka. If you replace the kernel, Joy-Cons will not work anyway.

Boot rate is 100%. Literally every time.

As for te guy that says you can only see cores when you have roms i there, you are wrong. You can see all cores, and load them without roms.

However, when you do hve roms inside, and you select the ROM, the ROM will present you with all the cores that can run it.

I went ahead and removed the link to the image. GBAtemp is not ready for this.

Then things have changed in Lakka. I run it on my Rock64 and cores don't show until games are added. I will admit that it is an older build, though.

I guess next time I'll actually try the build out before I open my mouth. My apologies.

Maybe its because I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 or something, idk but it's not 100% for me. It works most of the time but if It fails I just get a black screen and have to reboot and try again. Seems like a few people are running into this issue. Not really sure whats causing it but I'm not complaining either.
