ROM Hack [New 3dsXL] Won't load DS games. Help!

Hello everyone,

I really need help here. I hacked my New 3DSXL with Luma and now it won't load any DS (physical or R4) or GBA (injected) games, all it does is that the screen goes black and it won't even restart, had to physically remove the battery to get it to come back.

Here's some more information and what I've tried:

-Current version is Sys 11.4.0-37U
-Tried to reinstall emulation files
-Booting with start+power button pulls up hourglass9 screen even with godmode9 file in SD root even after deleting all other files
-Runs 3DS games (cartridge or installed) without problems every time
-Freeshop is not installed, been using cia installer only


If anyone could help me at least to get the console to run DS games again it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying that as soon as you installed Luma, DS games stopped working, or did it happen after you installed something else?

What sks316 said. Also your issue with GodMode9 is that it needs to be in the luma/payloads folder, not the root.

It happened right after I installed Luma

Sorry, what I meant when I said that I tried to reinstall the emulation files is that I tried the "DSI/DS functionality is broken" section without results

It I still had A9LH and just by updating to B9S it worked and is now loading DS and GBA games.
