Hello there,

new here so sorry in case i'm opening a thread for something that has already bin talked thorugh. So only recently i found out what is able with the homebrew channel. So i bought a used Wii U the other week and already i have put the homebrew channel on to the wii menu. All done by seeing (lots) of YT videos. Ye really gotta understand i am a pathetic noob on this subject. Respect to those who got this going byself!
So i also managed to put Nintendon onto my sd card and i can run it from the hbc. I also put an game cube iso into the games folder of nintendont. Done it all the way it should be. Nintendon - SD root - games - and then the folder of the game (Starfox Adventeurs) and then game.iso. So i got no problems running that iso. It runs perfectly. But i also have already packed a few more games into the games folder. Just the same way like the first iso. But whenever i load Nintendont, there will only be one game displayed. Which is Starfox. None of the other isos are being read or listed.
Made sure i got them in right order and marked then correctly. Still no luck. Any idea what's wrong???

Cheers

And all of the games are in a different folder in the games folder? And they are all called game.iso?
Yes they all have their own folder called by the title of each game. And i made sure the inside iso is called "game.iso"

Don't know why i can't. System keep saying it might contain spam
Here's the issue. You have to put /games on the SD card at the very first folder that opens when you click on the SD card.

The root refers to the first folder on the SD card - not an actual folder called root.

Hey mate. Got a min? Thought you could maybe help me on another thing. my sd card is full, got only 16 gb and surly i wanna put some more games and stuff on. So i thought move over to a 1-2 tb hdd. Got myself one from intensio.
I thought shoof all that content on to the hdd and stick it into the wii u usb port...but of course that didn't work. What do i have to do so i can use my hdd just like my sd card??

When you launch nintendont you should be able to pick to load from usb or SD.

I believe you place the games in the same folders.

You still have to use the SD card to launch the app iirc.

Yes done all that. But the isos i've put on the usb hdd aren't showing when i switch usb in Nintendont. But i just read something about a y wire which i need to run the hdd correctly. So i guess the power which comes from the console isn't enough to run the hdd on 100%...?

Yeah most hdds need an external power source or y cable to work. The wiiu has very low output on the USB ports.

Flashdrives work too and don't need additional power.

Ok, just found one of my old usb sticks. It worked. But it also has only 16 gb. So I'm gonna get myself one of those y wires and i guess that should work out then.
Thanks for helping out again man! Appreciate it.
