Great job! Didn't expect an emulator this soon.

My face when nooblets are dissappointed that they cannot play pirated games at the moment.

I don't know if this has been asked, but what if someone were to compile an Android version of this and tried to run it on Tegra X1 devices such as the Pixel C or Nvidia Shield using the interpreter mode? Would it just simply run very well? Not to assume Switch games would simply play right on the spot seeing as this emulator won't even be able to boot commercial games for several years. Just a random thought.

Quick? Is probably not that hard, maybe lot of recycled assets from wii u, which is recycled of wii, which is recycled of gamecube. The exploit of the system already started so reverse engineering seem like is not a surprise.
You should read a bit more into stuff before you jump the gun with such claims, the switch uses Nvidia's Tegra X1 chip that was used in things like the Shield TV and Google's Pixel C, uses custom API's and god knows what else, aparently the OS shares a lot in commom with the 3DS, but to say that "its probably not that hard because because it probably uses a bunch of assets from wii u" is a claim way off base since they are nothing alike.

Just because there are several ports from wii u doesn't mean the system is a recycled version of it.

Nice work to all involved. It's impressive that work on a Switch emulator has already begun, especially considering that the Switch hasn't even been out a year.

Also, a question: would it be possible to develop and test basic text-based Homebrew applications using this emulator, or does it still need more time to grow and mature? Can basic services be interacted with using the LibTransistor library?

Lol but every vaguely Asian word has been used as the name of a sushi bar by now. :D
well, idk if it exists elsewhere, but here in quebec, there are sushi bar named YUZU

ok, well, according to a e-newspaper, Yuzu was founded by a quebecois and has market only in quebec and 2 in new brunswick
So it makes sense that most of you never heard of it

Not saying the project no needs funding but...listing VS and IDA Pro wasn't sound right.

You must already own VS and IDA Pro to begin with, and anyone with the capability of making an emulator should already have those both, either paid by their own money or paid by their companies.

IDA Pro isn't something a "normal" user would need or can afford just to have fun, it's for serious reverse engineers with serious money.

if you guys arent using a 1080ti and a i7 7700k for your emulation you wont get over 15 fps

Even if this would be true right now, there is really no need to worry much, it will probably take quite some time before this emulator will emulate games properly anyway, and by the time it can, a lot of you will problably have updated your hardware anyway.

And emulators are usually pretty damn slow in the beginning of developement and are later optimized to perform much better.

So keep your pants on will ya

By far, the only app that I opened on that Switch Emulator with display is the ReSwitched display.nso(aka the red screen and moving ReSwitched icon). Others are working but only display on the CMD log and not the emulator's screen.

Anyways, user folder is located on %appdata%/yuzu. Move it to the emulator folder and rename it to user.
Any .nro format won't work. So DOOM port and Space Game won't work for now.

Please be reminded that only the Switch Hackers have the dumped game and will never distribute it to the public. Switch Homebrew is far finished yet. So, don't expect any Switch dump games around this year or so. Even though Switch game models and resources have been dumped, but not the entire game.

Great job guys! But I think you should give Nintendo at least a small chance to make money on the console. With this emulator we'll never see Metroid Prime 5, because you'll f@cking kill Nintendo)

ah the words of a true hypocrit.
