Hacking lost mii channel

i have the same problem i tried to get in to the mii channel on vwii and it did not work, and i dont have the backup,i tried to install it with nus but i get error -1017

You get the error when you try to download from NUS or when you try to install it through a wad manager? I was getting too an error when i was trying to install the mii channel wad. So i deleted first the mii channel (using a wad manager) and then i installed the wad file i downloaded from NUS. For me it worked only like this. Just make sure you have the right wad.
i already did that but i get error -1017 when i try to install it with wad manager, i already uninstalled the mii channel and still i can't install it, please help

i already did that but i get error -1017 when i try to install it with wad manager, i already uninstalled the mii channel and still i can't install it, please help
NVM if someone else reads this i managed to fix it by installing ios 236 vwii using the homebrew channel and then installing the miichannel from nus with wad manager 1.7 using the ios 236, and finally worked
