It might be. I honestly don't know. You didn't find any other broken things did you? Also, does the power turn off when you turn it on?

No it does not, didn't see anything wrong with the motherboard.

So when you turn it off and wait a while, it doesn't turn off? Have you followed the guide exactly? It should work. Maybe keep the 3ds plugged in when doing it.

Without trying to install CFW it just stays on a black screen, when trying to load any boot.firm it just turns off after a couple of seconds, also noticed i don't need a magnet to launch safeB9sinstaller

So all you need to do is hold Start + Select + Power? Hmmm.... maybe it is stuck in sleep mode. O3ds are known to do that. Have you tried entering Recovery mode?

Yup I think that is the problem. You are stuck in sleep mode. I just tried with my O3ds and it stayed on a black screen.

It doesn't respond to that button combo, unless i'm doing it wrong.

L+R+A+D-PAD DOWN+POWER That should work. If not, then you are bricked. NTRBoot should work. IDK why it doesn't

After thinking about it, it doesn't make sense that it shuts down when trying to do NTRboot. What could possible do this?

I don't know. All I know is that I posted the wrong button combo on my last post. It should be D-Pad Up instead of down. who knows what the problem is.
