Hacking Region free disc issue on CFW

I've tried both mocha cfw and CBHC as well as the older homebrew apps like ourloader and Spike. But I can't get any out of region disc to run on my Wii U. I have a PAL 8gb Wii U and the games I have tried are:

-Paper Mario Color Splash (USA)
-Super Mario 3D World (USA)
-Splatoon (USA)
-Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate (USA)

is there something obvious I'm forgetting or does this not work the way I thought it did.? either way, some insight would be very helpful to me. thx!

Did you try ripping your disc with disc2app and installing it with wup installer gx2 and make sure you are running CBCH because you can potentially brick your Wii U for installing out-of-region games

You can not brick your wiiu installing out of region games that was just a myth started years ago and has been proven to be a false statement.
