Sorry about that, it's fixed now.

Sweet!

I didn't give up however. I just commented out those 3 lines of the get_super_fx() function to max it return 0x0... and it worked! MMX 2 booted up! Thanks!

Now I'm kind of curious at whats different in a hex editor...

Take note that this new version of the script combines the header and footer into a single header and leaves out all information that isn't necessary to run.

can anyone try illsion of gaia and let us know your results,if no tut is out by tommrorrow ill make a video there will be no voice over but youll be able to see what to do,mines got custom music and custom boarders,but it is a pain and not ever rom is working and can result in a game not playing or if you mess up you will have to restore

While waiting for Hakchi2 for SNES I solved the problem of the annoying face cover... I know its locking pins will break someday so!

I inserted my 8bitdo retro receiver inside a clone of controller port 1 which is inside the console itself.

Pretty easy to do if you have a retro receiver for NES/SNES classic

see attach pictures!!
i really want to do this but I cant follow what you are saying? I have the retro receiver. more photos might help.

Since I'm in a good mood after finally getting MMX2/3 working, I decided to try this for you. I tried the "Illusion of Gaia (U) [!].smc" version. It booted up in canoe, but I didn't hear any sound up to and including the title screen. When I pressed start or let it idle into demo mode it just went to a black screen. Waited a minute or so and no change. Sorry.

I have been trying to run your script, I noticed you changed the input from strings to argparse? I do not know python that well how do I go about running the script now the later worked before "python.exe sfc2sfrom.py game.smc game.sfrom" Now i get errors.

What is the error?

Did you copy/paste the script into an editor? Try clicking "Raw" in the top right of the Gist and saving it with your browser.

thank you for trying both eur and usa did the same thing to me

Well I copied it and it works now but odd thing was I downloaded the script from gist. So IDK trying it now on hakachi my own edit thing.

I downloaded it from gist , is this proper way of executing it ? python.exe sfc2sfrom.py game.smc game.sfrom?
That is correct. The error is telling me that something happened to the script itself. There shouldn't be tab characters in it at all. Maybe try and make sure you're using Python 3.6.x

Good stuff.

Last edited by Valter,
well now I got the sfrom and all that but everytime I add a new game I get a C8. I think its the .desktop file

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=/bin/sfrom /usr/share/games/CLV-Z-MWMCN/CLV-Z-MWMCN.sfrom
Path=/var/lib/clover/profiles/0/CLV-Z-MWMCN
Name=harvest
Icon=/usr/share/games/CLV-Z-MWMCN/CLV-Z-MWMCN.png

[X-CLOVER Game]
Code=CLV-Z-MWMCN
TestID=777
ID=0
Players=1
Simultaneous=0
ReleaseDate=1900-01-01
SaveCount=0
SortRawTitle=harvest
SortRawPublisher=UNKNOWN
Copyright=hakchi2 ©2017 Alexey 'Cluster' Avdyukhin

OK progress I got Hakachi 2.18 to add snes games with the ui , but game wont work and I lost 21 games but I will fix that.

Just follow the color code in the first picture and just keep in mind that the first will not go to the connector itself but the metal casing of the connector.

It's pretty straight forward once you open everything up.

I have about 10 games all working flawlessly now, only 1 I tried so far that doesn't is Dragonball Z Hyper Dimension and I know it's because it's a SA-1 game and I duno what to edit to make that boot yet @Valter

I managed to get Seiken Densetsu 3E to work.

The C8 problem lies in the game bundle. I only got success after I copied over one of the STOCK game folders from the system and re-uploaded everything into the custom location. Then I simply overwrote the original rom there with the SD3 rom but kept the name and all images the same -- game loaded up fine.

There is something about the .desktop file I think that is the problem -- specifically the file formatting or the encoding.

What transfer mode do you all use for the .desktop files? ASCII or BINARY?

use notepad++ to edit the file
