I'm surprised a lot of people are going with Super Street Fighter 2 instead of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

I wish there was a checklist that you could just click the games you wanted and it would create a list based on what you selected. Would be much easier in figuring out what games I want to add

I got it down to 319 Mb, intact videos and music, compressed! I am doing this overhaul to the entire Sega CD Set, and should be done by the end of the week. Over 95 percent of the Sega CD games are viable for use on the Mini NES! Feel free to private message if you have any questions:)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

UPDATE 10-3-17 (Next on my agenda throughout this week will be to put together a video showcasing two specific things. One will be running 7zipped Arcade Games! The other will be how to add multiples of the same game! I am also overhauling the entire Sega-CD Set (for those of you aware of v2.5!). I am currently working on to have 2 versions of each respective game. One will be intact with full audio & video. The other will be ripped of unnecessary audio, where applicable. Watch the Snatcher video, linked to in yesterday's update, to get a better feel for how things will be as an end result! And, be sure to try out the two Sega CD Demos also linked to! Currently, Digital Leisure does conversions for the great Dragon's Lair 1, 2, and Space Ace. I have legitimately purchased them on PS3, DVD, and wherever else I possibly could. I have always loved these games! Anyways, thanks so much for the appreciation and tuning into my daily thread! Keep checking back daily for my Updates and other general thoughts! Great things will come! I will make sure of it! When I am close to a revelation, modification wise, I push myself, even on little sleep...just so I can go to sleep knowing I achieved yet another cool as hell thing to share with you all! As always, feel free to ask anything and everything relative to NES Classic Modding via responses in this thread, or private message!

You will be able to run all of these in compressed form (gzip), using the default SNES Classic Emulator:) There may be a few unsupported mappers! But, we will still have RetroArch, in those instances!
Mappers? This is SNES we are talking about not NES. But seriously it gives me hope now it is confirmed that Megaman X2 and X3 are supported.

Japanese games are already in NTSC format. Only Europe used PAL 50hz which means games need to be modified to run at correct speed on NTSC emulators/hardware.

Does it mean when I want to play in another language than English, I need to convert my PAL roms into NTSC?
If yes, is there any other way for converting than using ucon64 or SNES Tool? ucon64 doesn't work for every game and SNES Tool is incompatible with x64 Systems..

I'm pretty sure there is no super street fighter 2 turbo.

No one gonna add street fighter alpha 2 or is it not supported?

The controllers aren't as pretty, these 2.4ghz controllers come with their own dongles.

Thanks for the heads up, hopefully will be available in UK. Very long wait though

I'm pretty sure there was since I owned every version

Sorry should have been clearer, wasn't available for SNES, only ssf2

Will it matter if the games are unzipped?

Yes unzipped you'll have much less space to put games onto the system...

Holy grail is to get high compression rate with the games to pack as many games as possible, with the cover art, and still have space for save games for the games installed (you don't want to over install it, and not have space for the other features).

LOL. Why the hell would Nintendo do this. I think they love us because it's actually true.

Hey guys. Just wanted to pop in and say that while we're all busy being so excited over the prospects of an update to hakchi2 for SNES, don't forget to donate to clusterr for all the hard work if you haven't already. Dude deserves it.

(it won't let me post his email in normal formatting because the forum apparently thinks it's spam)
PP: clusterrr~AT~clusterrr~DOT~com

That's all! Peace.

any possibility of improving the compression rate even further?
Example: Home Improvement
Source 1537 KB
7z 688 KB (Ultra in 7-zip)
rar 733 KB (Ultra in WinRAR)
gz 766 KB (Ultra in 7-zip)

But only gz and uncompressed will work without and emulator.
