OK, I've split up the xmb_draw_items function into two: xmb_draw_items, and xmb_draw_item. When you guys download the next build, the stack trace should give us a clearer understanding of exactly where the crash happens. I've also tried reducing some more on stack size usage in the case the DSI errors come from there.

Awesome news ^_^ I'll test it as soon as it's out.

Looks like the new nightly is up. Decided to just pick Atari 5200 at random - not sure if its because of the recent keyboard support but it no longer boots straight to the ROM and drops you in BASIC by default. Seems like it black screens/locks up after quitting a game too.

Duplicated this behavior first by playing an Atari 5200 game and then quitting/locking up, followed by a reboot, playing a NES game and then successfully loading a title in MAME, followed by another quit/black screen lockup. No error messages.

Do these same code dumps occur when the launcher is used? I noticed the code dump explicitly mention "homebrew_launcher", which is curious. Something's breaking there maybe?

Official Mega's Retroarch Channel Download url https://mega.nz/#!hMphCaTL!0Xv5Uya7k4OvQh8FyPHyBKGAlz5yV5Dj5BW_vlTftzg is down. Have someone uploaded it to another site?

People need to start using Google Drive, Dropbox and not these Mega NZ shenanigans, just my two cents, at least those don't go down all the time.

Another crash - configured Pro Controller as controller 1, gamepad as 2 playing Star Fox 2 in SNES9x - Pro controller sync timed out after being idle, attempting to resync crashed the system.

I just deleted snes9x and redownloaded it. Works a treat now.

Hmm, which build are you using for the Snes9x app? 9/29/17 or another nightly build? :P But we're starting to see quite a pattern in HBL and the code dumps, for whatever reason.

I get crashes directly related to using hbl, but when I use that channel brien made a while back, no crashes. Just an fyi.

Right, so we report them and get as many bugs squashed as we can XD

It was a pretty old nightly (generally use older ones for playing, load new ones over the network for testing), though it was working fine for weeks before it went bad. I still reckon it's some kind of corruption or data rot in the SD card.
