Yes, finally Pokémon Platinum works, I've been waiting for this moment since December 2016!

I would like to know, can I use the same MKDS rom as donor for multiple games or will that overwrite my save for my other game?

Recently, I updated my 3DS to Boot9Strap. I followed the guide, but a lot of my apps such as TWloader give this error:

An exception occured

Processor: ARM11
Exception type: data abort
Current process: 3dsx_app

That's the error I get when launching the 3dsx version of TWloader, when I launch the CIA version, it works but when I launch a game (I launched Mario Kart DS) it says this:

Processor: ARM9
Exception type: data abort

Help?

This happens with other apps too and my 3ds also sometimes gives a error saying it cannot be launched from a specific location.

I don't really know where to post this problem and I tried looking it up with no straight answers.

Never mind, fixed it.

I don't have an Acekard 2i, so I can't fix it.

I am using Acekard 2 (non (i) version), and I experienced the same issue where once TWLoader it only shows the 3DS card (sd:/)

But I have a found a workaround:

  • Downloaded the latest version of akaio, and rename 'ak4menu.nds' to 'YSMenu.nds'
  • Replace/rename the 'YSMenu.nds' on the Flashcart SD
  • Load 'Add Games' in TWLoader, wait while it boots into the Akaio menu.
  • Manually load the _nds/twloader.nds rom.
  • Now it should list all files in the flashcart (fat:/)
  • Add your games, when your done, rename 'YSMenu.nds' or move it to a backup folder.
  • Copy back the original 'YSMenu.nds' and the games should load now.
I guess the problems lies with YSMenu?

Hope this helps others experiencing this issue.

Edit:
Also I think we can bypass YSMenu entirely.
AKAIO can autoload roms, just need to set the rom in __aio/lastsave.ini

I'm having issues with compiling myself, so I cannot test this...

I'm having a problem. I'm trying to update to bootstrap 0.6.0 but when i use the built-in bootstrap updater (5.1.1) it stays there forever and if i close and re-open the app then it says "no version available" and won't update. If I try to update manually, It gives me an arm11 exception.

It'd be really great if you could tell me where i'm going wrong and/or make a quick guide on manually updating. Thanks in advance! :D

EDIT: If it helps, I'm on O3DS 11.5 w/B9S using the CIA version of the app

Hello ,
I wanted to know why twloader can not be in 3dsx? Because I do not want to install on my 3ds cia for fear of ban ...

But you still have to install the TWL CIA for it to work. I think that's what he's talking about.

the 3dsx version remains therefore impossible without the cia and if not it is the demo of shit

No, it won't. It is safe to use MKDS as donor for multiple games. Just set MKDS as donor ROM, and you're all set.

The nand side cias arnt going to get you banned. Theres no way nintendo can check whats installed on your nand.

You have boot9strap installed on your nand anyway

but nintendo can detect the software install on the console and make believe that spot pass off is protected but that finally it is a troll
