i7 5820k @ OC 4.0ghz
(some kind of liquid cooler with a blue LED)
MSI X99S sli plus mobo
16GB ddr4 Ram kingston
MSi gtx 980
Azza 800 watt power supply (no idea who makes this psu)

Is it any good for CAD and gaming? I never heard much on the x99 platform or the 5820k which is haswell E I am wondering if I should buy they are asking $650 but I talked them down to $500 no hdds and possibly needs a need psu which will cost me another $70-100. My main thing is I kinda need extra cores for autoCAD since my quad core doesn't do the job well.

But if anything can someone please identify that cooler for me in the picture? I cannot figure it out based on the light maybe someone knows just from the tubes I know that can't be a corsair hydro maybe a cooler master one?

it might be a cooler master but its pretty hard to tell from the picture so it might be a generic one

I'd typically tell you to wait it out for Coffee Lake, but for such a low price this might be one of the best bargains in your entire life. Definitely go for it.

Im sad, at that price i honestly tried to find the seller online and steal that deal from you XD. Seriously though buy that asap before buyer changes their mind

To give you an idea the graphics card alone is a bit over 500 on new egg.

Get it and don't think twice.
980's dont go for $500, its a disscontinued card and those are new prices
Used you are looking at $150-200

That's a bit of a low ball, I've seen up to $300 depending on the $980

I was looking at the wrong thing, $250-300 is the range for used cards

The only really bad things about the build are the sketcy psu and aio (120mm rad cant really cool a 5820k properly)
