ROM Hack APM MHX/MHGen Save Editor

Hi guys, i am new to this entire thing. my new 3DS XL version is 11.4.0-37U and so far i have seen that i cant install HomeBrew in it. i have my MHGen folder data on my PC is there a way to edit that save?

I'm pretty sure there are not, you have to extract the save (which requires HB), edit it and re-inject it.

After 40 hours of charm farming, it doesn't seem like that Sharpness +5 ooo talisman will ever drop.

Yes, export the save with your choice of manager, i.e. JKSM then edit with this editor, import with same save editor.

Same answer as above. If you do already have a custom firmware, then yes.

I used the 'unlock' feature to unlock all of the palico armor/weapons, I can see all of the armors/weapons but I cannot create any of the armor/weapons. I have the materials.

take the materials on a non-gathering quest then finish/deliver the materials back to your box.

I tried making some healer palicos earlier but the skills keep being reset once i choose the palico, I did read the fact and followed instructions, used the palico check tool to but nothing , would any of you beautiful people share some healer palicos for me to import?

I believe the savefile is encrypted to the console itself, otherwise that could do it.

I've read up on how to secure your save data and they have mentioned you would just need to drag the exdata file from the sd card. In theory it should work, anyone willing to give it a try ?

@meercat8 that's not how it works, you can't use your extended data on any other console unless you do the nintendo transfer to another 3DS.

I've been trying to mess up with palicos too but abilities are always unselected while I play a quest.
Idk what rules should I be following. On another thread an user said that the game has its own checks so you can't make a palico soo OP but I'm trying to copy one from another hunter (Gaijin) and it keeps being corrupted.
I'll post a photo so you guys can see what's wrong with my cat.

So I have an issue, after I edit the save and start the game, the character goes back to HR7 even if the change is as little as a name change, anybody know how to fix this? thank you!

Not sure if I should make a new thread for this or just post it here but here goes:

So I just made a new save editor for MHXX based off @APM 's save editor.
I initially tried to edit her editor but I got confused halfway through and just decided to make a new one from scratch.
It's still in its early stages; only has character editor and item box editor right now.

Expect this editor to be buggy though, since I've only used it on a clean save.
So make backups before using this.

Also, if anyone know the offsets for MHXX that'd be GREAT.
