Hacking Tester Needed. Shovel Knight Problem.

If there is anyone who has a shovel knight amiibo can you please confirm if the game functions when using the amiibo "Custom Knight" game on 3DS using the latest update of the game? I have a New 3DS with Luma 8.1 and Shovel Knight treasure trove on it, and everytime I try to use the amiibo, it crashes with a error handler exception forcing shut off of the system.

I want someone with a unmodified system to confirm if is a issue with the game or my system having cfw. I only have a New 3DS so if anyone else has a 3ds that can use amiibo to try?

Just let me know if it works, of course you need the game and amiibo and a way to use it on the system. Process to replicate the error.

• Activating custom knight and starting from saved game. (If you manage to start the game then the next step will cause error)
• Equipping custom knight with Plague Knight's Bomb Blast ability and using it.

Those are the known times the game cause the problem. Please tell me if you managed to proceed with these actions, tell me what setup you used to do any of this with, mines is below.

• System model = New 3DS XL

I tried activating Custom Knight on my stock N3DS and it worked just fine, but I don't have a Plague Knight profile to test the bombs with.
Just curious, if you downloaded it, where is it from? On my CFW system I had issues getting a game to run that came from freeshop, and reinstalling the game fixed that.

You don't use plague knight, you use shovel knight and activate custom knight. If your custom knight is on high enough level (50 is max) then he should unlock bomb blast.

Oh, mine doesn't have Bomb Blast yet (It's level 39 now) but it has Fleet Flask. :/
Guess I can try to unlock it real fast or something.

Oh wait I lied. I was looking in the wrong section of items. Using Bomb Burst crashes my game. (As well as forcing a restart.)

I can add a bit more to this. Using Bomb Burst on Custom Knight on the WiiU/Switch version doesn't cause any issues, so the bug is totally limited to the 3DS version. It may be a good idea to report it to Yacht Club Games, so maybe it'll get looked at sooner. (Sorry for the slight necro though. :S )

EDIT: Apparently they pushed a patch for it and are waiting for Nintendo to approve it.
