Hacking Maidumptool and VPK problem

i have a SD2Vita and Henkaku Enso. Everytime i try to install a maidump i get an Error. the same with a VPK (Error: 0xffffffff). what can i do?

only 1 Maidump worked (UPPERS) and 1 VPK (Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition).

First double check that the sd2vita is correcrly detected by the vita under memory card mangement.

I wonder if there is a size issue. Can you try something smaller? 32gb and then transfer it over?

Also the sd card ur using is it a good brand?

Are the games u installing working?

Which games are you attempting to install? are they for 3.60 firmware or less?
Reminder that newer games 3.61+ don't work.

i fixed it. i deleted vpk and maidumps. copied new ones over. now it works.

my vita is perfect now (256GB storage, Henkaku Enso, Emulators) but sadly i never activated my Vita so no Adrenaline.....

i know that the Adrenaline dev said he can get it work without activating but i am going to turkey on 08.08 so no psp on vacation....

Let me know if you have issues with that. I'm a pro at activating Vitas at this point haha.

How are you transferring the vpks to your Vita? Are you doing it via FTP? How is the SD formatted? The cluster size, etc.
do you think those vpks are corrupted? Which ones are you trying? Just for games or other homebrew?

How are you trying to install it? with the memory card mounted to uxo?
If not try that.
If already mounted to uxo, what happens if you try to install it when it's mounted to uma?

No. It wasn't even released when the SD2Vita tool rolled out.

But I would suggest just going ahead and installing it anyway before you do other stuff. It is the new preferred method.

I keep reading about issues with Enso. I really don't need Enso if it's only main feature is to boot without reapplying Henkaku, which I already set up to launch offline with the email app.

Yeah, but why not just use it? It's the best homebrew to come out this year besides the mounting of external hard drives.

You sound like the type that refused to install Haxchi or CBHC on Wii U, insisting on using the BrowserHax until Nintendo patched it. Haha now they're all begging to get an exploit for the newest firmware.
I say just install Enso and get it out of the way.
I get your point though: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But just consider that this is much safer than ColdbootHax. I don't see this breaking anything. Also, you can always uninstall it.
