ROM Hack luigi as first player in nsmb2

is there a way to be luigi as first player when starting a fresh save file? L+R needs a complete save file. put this in romhacking section cuz i think i need to swap textures or something

I tried replacing Luigi model over Mario in Model folder but it crashes, though :/

This is not because YOU you tried and it doesn't work, that it won't work with anyone else.

i think it's about code.bin that something has to be edited

no they are the same in nsmb2

wouldn't it be better to just patch the routine that checks if the save file is complete? Then you can have his icons and voice
