mfw the one who gets the kernel doesn't release his work most of the time
These people that's been talked about so far have always released something. So don't worry, if they do find something, they will release it. Most likely after Nintendo patched it or when they feel the time is right.

That was before Nintendo gave out a $20,000 bounty for exploits.

A slight concern about any future vuln being released is the fact he sat on sighax for the 3DS for a looooong time and it wasn't until others in the scene including people like SciresM and co released their variant that he kind of rushed his out

I hope this won't be the case and it will be another big team / community effort that will be shared with all

If you're talking about the update when using a micro SDXC larger than 64GB it doesn't matter, it's a separate update and not a firmware update.
I got a new Switch today and when i inserted the sd card (64gb) asked for an update and it was full update (from 2.1 to 3.0)

Yes,now i'm on 3.0 i'll leave it on this FW and use my other Switch for future updates and online

I know this is super unlikely but i hope it'll be like 3ds where you can play online on your hacked system, this is most likely not the case however!
Doubt i'll get another switch JUST for playing online if that really is the case, we'll see......
With the 3ds being able to play online with the system hacked was easier due to the nature of the online system, will it be possible to play a switch online hacked in anyone's opinion?
