Works perfectly on my new 3DSXL!!!. You just save me $18.00 I was going to buy the kit to make the Amiibomb.
Thank you @HiddenRambler

Quick request.
Would it be possible to add folder support for the amiibos folder? As you know there is a lot of amiibos, with the folder support we can put them into categorizing folders in the amiibo folder in the root of the sd card.

Nevermind :)

@HiddenRambler

Works:
- it works on N3DS and N3DSXL
- Latest Luma3Ds Hourly
- Sysnand 11.4
- Booted through Homebrew Launcher installed as CIA

Does not work:
- it doesn't work on O3DS with NFC adaptor (Same setup as the N3DS/N3DSXL)

Error:
- StartOtherTagScanning() failed.
- failed to get UID: -928942592

Thanks. I will be getting a NFC adapter soon and then I'll be able to test O3DS. Not sure why it's causing this.

is the "amiibo_keys.bin" file supposed to contain both the locked and unfixed keys?

Yes you need to concatenate the two sets of keys together (order does not matter).

I don't have the boot.firm in the 3ds folder... I actually have to have that file in there?
That is how I have it and it works without a problem. Earlier when this thread was created the boot.firm was posted here because the first version was not working correctly with the latest Luma.

well, I put a copy of the boot.firm file in the folder and it still freezes.

I think I merged most of the changes already, did you see 2.4?. I don't really mind if they publish an apk as long as they flag it as a fork. I will merge any remaining pull requests as soon as i can.
Haven't checked, just mentioned it in the off chance you missed all that biz.

Thenaya is a homebrew app which can program Amiibo dump files into blank NTAG215, making brand new Amiibos. It's the little sister of the TagMo project.

Currently it is very much POC/Alpha stage. But it works for me (TM).

Usage is simple:
Copy the 3dsx/smdh files into 3ds folder.
Createa folder called "amiibo" in the sd root and put any amiibo dump files into it.
put the amiibo encryption key file to sd root with the name "amiibo_keys.bin"
Launch the app from homebrew launcher. Press X, select the file, press A, place blan NTAG215 tag on 3ds wait until finished.

I've only tested this on the New3DS, but hopefully it should work on the Old3DS as long as you have the NFC writer thingy for it.

Like i said it's mainly POC and needs time to get polished.

Downloads/Source Code

Credits extend to everyone who made TagMo possible. Specially to @javiMaD and Yellows8 who appears to have put in the NFC api into libctru.
Will Datel Power Tags work on this?

@ness151 I had the same problem on New3DS, just use a different base app for Rosalina and of course the latest homebrew launcher from fincs.
I didn't have the homebrew launcher cia installed so I used H&S app which didn't work as base.
However, the music app works flawlessly for me.
The issue regarding this was just closed on github so in the near future they won't fix this, it really isn't that urgent I guess.

That actually did it, thank you!

That and restore tag feature is next. My time is limited so I will have to see how much I can get done in the weekend.
