Hacking Cannot do "Finalize Setup" according to 3ds.guide

Hi.
I followed the 3ds.guide guide to installing b9s and Luma, and on the finalizing setup (step 3 - launching FBI) step, i cannot open the 'Rosalina Menu' by pressing L + Down + Select? I have checked every single step and i did them all correctly. If this helps, when i go to settings it shows that i am on
'Sys 11.4.0-37U', I updated because the guide told me to.

Huh, weird...

Try powering on your 3DS while holding "Select", and it should open the Luma config menu. At the top of the top screen, it should say a version number. What number is it?

Alright, well it's 8.0 that has the Rosalina menu.

You can update to it by downloading the latest release of Luma from this:

https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases/latest

And replacing your current "boot.firm" file with the one in the .zip archive.

When I replace the new boot.firm my 3ds wont start, but with the old boot.firm it works

You need to update to B9S 1.2, before you can use Luma3DS 8.0
