That's why you need to copy only the parts the tutorial is remarking. Also, Pressing Ctrl+A is important to paste the data in the LCS file.

I asked this question on the previous page, but doesn't this mean literally thousands of 3DS consoles connecting to the Nintendo servers with the same "ID"? Surely that would lead to a fairly quick and easy mass ban lol. My exact question on the prior page was if you dump your own seed file from another 3DS and use it in your banned 3DS, can both consoles operate at once?

No. The Local friend code seed is not the device id.

Important Information HOW TO (likely) AVOID THE BAN:
1. TURN OFF WIFI
2. Go to Friend List, click Settings in the corner of the screen, go to settings, and DISABLE Share Currently Playing Game.
3. Go to System Settings -> Internet Settings -> SpotPass -> Sending of System Information; turn it OFF.
Optionally, avoid running homebrew from, or installing it to, the Home Menu, as a CIA.
This does NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE BANNED. IT IS A SAFETY NET.

When I paste the exact contents from the guide, the new friendcode file goes down to 161 bytes vs 272 bytes.

Carefull. Why not stay safe and turn of 3ds untill we can prevent bans? People will not be "carefull". There will be people going online set illegal Titels as favorite software, send data per streetpass and so on. So have fun playing online a few hours.

Im trying method 2 right now and my movable.sed does not match with my friendcode seed i did a systemtransfer to hack it back in 11.2 dsiwarehax stuff. i followed the steps but the edited file turned out 273kb =/ im pretty sure it needs to be 272 to inject right ?
