Homebrew ALL 3 Methods to get unbanned from recent ban wave

excuse me can you tell how to know if a 3DS already made system transfer ? cuz I am using a 2nd-hand 3DS, I don't know the last owner did it or not

Please use a hex editor such as HxD and compare this part of "movable.sed" with "LocalFriendCodeSeed_B"
if they are exactly the same, that means the console has never done a system transfer, meaning you can't use the 2nd method. You'll need a LocalFriendSeedCode_B from another 3DS or a public one to unban the 3DS. (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

You should keep them for now and release them later when the situation is calmer and the ban wave is hopefully over.

I agree with telly23 - you should wait for the situation to clarify and then release them, but... I also am interested in 1 seed (don't know how to pm here?)

There's another method that worked for me yesterday, but just for people that got affected by the last banwave and wanna GET LEGAL (I mean, 0 hacks from now)

-Purchase another 3DS
-Make system transfer from the hacked to the new one. You will keep all your legal stuff and saves,etc
-That's all

I know that this method is rather expensive and a little crazy, but In my case I have the chance to sell the system (and even return the "hacked" one to Amazon, since I purchased the same color)

I think that system transfer will also transfer your seed so you'll be still banned right?

System transfer will transfer your NNID. If your NNID is banned, you will still be banned.
This ban however is not a NNID ban but a console ban, changing console will not "lift" the ban, but your NNID will end up in a console that was never banned.

The ban was not transfered, at least in my case
I cannot guarantee, on the other side, that such thing could happen to somebody

If one of you two get banned, the other one is instantly banned as well. You are basically sharing a console ID.

Well, the "public" seed which lasted quite a while, until it got banned was doing quite well, and this being private for my own use. One can hope
