Some Marvel Super Heroes beat them all game on SNES
It really sucked. Controls were shit, music was ear rape, an it's was anything but fun. A joke over a marvelous license.

This

It isn't that bad (decent music, decent graphics, somewhat interesting gameplay, et cetera), but when I was 12, I wanted this game to be so much more.

What disappointed you about it?

It had a lot of potential to be a great game, but the way they handled progression of the story and progression of your characters just didn't fit how I wanted it to be.

I used to get Dreamcast magazine and it looked like it was something deep, almost like Grandia II or Skies of Arcadia; while I did get both of those games, too, Time Stalkers just felt like it could have been 'that other must-have RPG from the Dreamcast-era.' If there was a set formula (one character adventures, gets a two monsters to travel with, meets another character who joins, advances the story to find another character until you can blend a team that works to your style, etc,), I would have been elated. Instead, I got pissed and returned it to KB Toys.

Mind you, I was the target demographic for Pokémon, so I had a lot of expectations regarding anything with 'monster' and 'RPG' when I read about it in a magazine.

No one's said Bubsy 3D? Or Ride to Hell? Or ET?

But did you play those games?
