i have 2 3ds consoles: new 3ds xl and o3ds. Both are on 11.4.0-37E a9lh. I was using this guide to update https://3ds.guide/updating-to-boot9strap . My new 3ds update went smoothly, however my old 3ds won't launch the start_SafeB9SInstaller.bin. Just to clarify i double checked the naming and it's in luma/payloads. Also autoboot sysnand option is turned off in luma menu. Can anyone help?

Download a fresh one, it may have become corrupted. You can also try loading it on the soft-boot vs hardboot. Go to system settings, hit "X" to exit and then hold start to launch the Luma Chainloader.

I'm still on a9lh, not sighax
Those are for when you get it installed. Let's see.....
Make sure you have "autoboot SysNAND" checked in your Luma settings.
Verify, the payloads are in the correct place (i.e. F:/luma/payloads)
Verify the integrity of your SD card, as well as the files by copying them over manually (twice) don't use Wi-Fi.
Replace the arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card with a fresh one from HERE.

After doing the above, test Godmode9.bin to see if it loads the payload when holding start then pressing power. If that works, try to run the Boot9Strap installer again.

If I already have a9lh and the latest luma on 11.3,can't I just launch the sighaxinstaller with the luma payload launcher, because when I do it with the latest luma through the homebrew launcher with udsploit and safehax it goes to a black screen and automatically turns off

If you already have A9LH you shouldn't be using safehax/udsploit anyway..... Just follow this directly https://3ds.guide/updating-to-boot9strap
