i lent my 2ds to my cousin and just got it back today. it was on 11.2 i believe. i updated luma3ds to latest(7.0.5 i think). i use menuhax i believe. im not too sure. i then updated to the latest 3ds fw in luma emunand. then when it rebooted to menuhax(?) and chose luma 3ds it black screens. i can answer other questions if needed. i really hope someone can help because i have a lot of game progress i wish not to lose

Did you make sure it was on EmuNAND?

If I can ask why are you stil in Menuhax while you can just go all the way to A9LH?

Try deleting the config file inside the luma folder
tryed deleting config. same thing. i keep hearing about a9lh. will i keep my emunand stuff

Are you sure you are on the latest? It's really odd that it doesnt boot anymore o.o

and yes as long that you make a EmuNAND Backup and a SysNAND Backup

3ds.guide will help you with installing A9LH :3

im not sure if i am using menuhax. it boots to a pink asking to select a boot entry so im not sure

I going to give a suggestion to really consider updating to A9LH, future releases of Luma3DS will no longer support menuHAX. So once the newest Luma3DS build goes public, you won't be able to up date it. So I really suggest checking out 3ds.guide
You can also still use the same emuNAND with A9LH, although it's suggested to flash the emuNAND to your sysNAND. There's no reason to keep an emuNAND with A9LH.
You may just need to redownload the current version of Luma3DS and seeing if that works.

It probably has to do something with the .3dsx file you are using in menuhax to boot the arm9loaderhax.bin in the root. You should eather find a updated version of it and put it in your 3ds folder,or switch to a9lh.
