Hardware NFC not working on N3DS XL

So i tested for the first time my NFC on my N3DSXL with an Amiibo (Console is a N3DS XL launch date buy) and it doesn't work, it doesn't read original Amiibo's.

The console is hardmodded and has CFW

Not sending it to Nintendo and i need to fix it, anybody knows where or how?

The connector might've been loosened. I've done a bunch of hardmods and this actually happened to me once. I fixed it by jamming some engineering paper, which is thinner than regular, into the connector to add pressure. If you try this, be sure to put the paper on the side that doesn't have the metal contacts.

yeah I have said I will take a look at it for him, it may just have been the little ribbon cable has came loose or isn't seated quite right, but as long as your careful removing the ribbon and dont pull up the clip it should hold the ribbon just as securely as original, but I guess its possible it got knocked loose in transit as the hardmod itself should have no effect on the NFC functionality
