The custom path is used for bootloaders, not for setting custom boot paths for A9LH.
So if you wanted to use something like BootCTR9, you would use the custom boot path for that program for the Luma3DS payloads to work properly.

How are you launching it? Because the reboot patches should be working if you are launching with the right path and bootloader setup.
But if you are using Luma3DS as your main CFW, you really should just leave it as boot your main CFW and chainloader.

I need more context here. What bootloader are you trying to use and honestly what are you trying to use it for? Luma3DS has a chainloader that can load your A9LH payloads, even other CFWs.

Right, so let's clean some stuff up and get you on the right place

All those underlined files you can delete. From there, you just need to place the "arm9loaderhax.bin" from Luma3DS into the root of your SD card. You don't need to set any custom paths if you aren't loading Luma3DS from a bootloader. And really if you are new, I just suggest using the Luma3DS chainloader itself. Just play the A9LH payloads you want into the
Code:
/luma/Payloads
From there, just boot the system holding "Start" and it will bring up your payload menu to launch your payloads.

You actually don't have to rename the payloads anymore, they just need to update their wiki. Just felt like throwing that out there for future reference.
From there, just turn on the settings you think you need the most. So I suggest
"Autoboot to sysNAND"
"Show NAND or user string in System Settings"
"Patch SVC"
You should also check out her Wiki, which explains all of these features
https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Options-and-usage

Hmm~ this is a pickle. So you do have the "arm9loaderhax.bin" from luma3DS in the root of the SD card?
Also I would suggest bringing all of this information over to the official Luma3DS thread.

I am smart, but I am also troubleshooting from memory here, so the official thread would be a great start for more help!
