Hacking 3Down - People reporting problems

Recently a new downgrading method called "3down" has surfaced and, a lot of people are warning me about this method. People have been saying that it will brick your system. Some even reported to have been console banned by nintendo?? Can anyone confirm these problems to be true?

Bricking - with A9LH n nand backup goodluck with that, console ban - that's if you blatantly cheat online which this isn't that.

On the homebrew discord, there are people saying that it bricked their system when they tried it.

Why not ask in the 3Down thread? http://gbatemp.net/threads/3down-ctrnand-downgrade.467877/ . I'd also assume those people did 3Down before the OP properly scrubbed the images.

Guys, instead of asking, just look at the updated OP on the 3Down thread that I linked to. The OP/creator, addi33, who provides all of the ctrnand transfer images, did not fully clean/scrub them before releasing them to the public. This is why people could've reported bans. As for the bricks, lol, doubtful. In any case, addi33 cleaned/scrubbed the images and they are now good to go (as in they no longer include his info and friendslist).

dude, the only one who could have get banned was me if someone would take my localfriendcodeseed and purposely ban it. but I wouldn't even care since I have access to 4 N3DS's

I'm just replying to the information I was given. I see some guy talking about complaints (assuming all false), but then I see 3Down updated saying it needed a few clean files. ::shrug::
