Homebrew How do we cheat in GBA emulator?

Hello
I downloaded mGBA from retroarch, but if it's like its Wii U counterpart, then I have no idea how to use cheat,
can anyone help me please?
if theres another gba emulator that allows gameshark/codebreaker etc easily
thanks for any help

I don't think the gba cores allow cheats yet. I might be wrong on this or not

Patching the rom itself is likely the best choice.

EDITY: Ok so I've tryed all gba emulator on 3ds and none of them work with patched rom,
maybe because the size of the rom is now bigger

also, I get an error message on the loweer screen
cannot push NULL or empty core info into the playlist

PS: it does work on gba emulator on PC
just not on 3ds

sadly best bet is more likely Save Editing w/ Pokemon games but no gba Emulator we have on N3DS has cheats yet and you cant use NTR w/ the VCs

Also, is it possible to have a fast-throttle option on retroarch emulator?

you need to dump the save with agbsave9/decrypt9

because just like Decrypt9, AGBSave9 is a A9LH Payload and hasto be booted thru a Bootmanager or thru Luma's Chainloader.
