Hey. I bought a 3.5mm Audio Cable today so I can use NTR CFW streaming with direct sound and upload to YouTube with better sound quality, but I can't get it working with dual headphones/microphone jack port on my laptop, it works fine with separate Mic port on other PC (running Windows 10), as it won't detect audio cable I plugged in. :(
I tried everything such as Control Panel's Sound, "Listen to this device", OBS, Virtual Audio Cable (I don't know what the hell I'm doing with this program).

My PC is ASUS T200TA, running Windows 8.1.

Do you have a line-in jack? Plug it in that jack instead.
Yes I do. I plugged it into my New 3DS XL's jack and into my laptop's combo jack. The problem is the sound device didn't appear but a little notification popup about plugged device.

In the Line-in tab, turn the volume up.
It's not in there.

Advanced Settings are restore default settings or launch Sound.

ah, it's a combo jack? that means it's only ONE jack for both headphone and microphone. 4 pin. you need a breakout cable
