Nope. (IMO)
Thera are enough buttons and I'm sure they could make an emulator run well, but it's still GameCube.
How much would the games cost? (If what you mean is VC)
I can see HD remasters being a thing though.
If you're talking about CFW, wait until 2020 and see kappa.

i think you should rly be asking if the hardware is capable of it first then wait and hope nintendo does it themselves. hacking it will most likely not happen for a very long time

They might run but not at full speed.
Well, I feel like it'll be a lot like with the Wii U. I'm pretty sure that since the Wii U can emulate Game Cube games then the Switch will be able to as well. Of course, I'm not 100% sure if that'll be the case because the Wii U was able to emulate the Wii hardware making Game Cube games playable so idk.
I don't know much about how hardware works.

Wii-U doesn't really "emulate" them though....

No emulation was involved in playing gamecube games on wii u, it was all natively (only thing emulated was memory cards)

In this case, I would say it's possible. Heck even official VC games. The Switch is actually powerful. But it's a different arcitecture, so this will need to be a REAL emulator.

Skeptical bastard^

EDIT. And yes, actually, I happen to be just that.

Well I was sceptical that you were captain of the debating team, but I have no strong feelings either way regarding GCN games on Switch. So if I'm a bastard for questioning your ability to form a measured argument, so be it.
