Hi,

To those who have pre-ordered with them. Have you had any shipping emails?

I received an email on 23/02/17 to say my pre-order would be sent soon but nothing since. I pre-ordered my Switch on 13/01/17 but I only used free delivery - I'm not sure there were other delivery options? I wonder if I am in on the first batch or not and with which courier they are going to send them out with. They usually use Royal Mail.

I pre-ordered Zelda with the t-shirt along with Mario Kart and apparently Zelda is out for delivery today.

I've seen quite a few posts from Reddit, here's what I know for Official Nintendo Store UK pre-orders:

- Orders from the first wave defaulted to "Standard Free Delivery", with no other options available to the customer
- Orders from the first wave should have received a "dispatching very soon" email some time last week
- Accessories and games ordered separately from the Switch console should be dispatched today
- Nintendo have started charging people's bank accounts last night and throughout all of today for the Switch console
- Once charged, your order status will display "Awaiting Dispatch"
- Royal Mail will be used to deliver accessories and games that have been ordered separately from the console
- Yodel Standard Next-Day or DPD will be used to ship the consoles
- Consoles will be sent out some time today, aiming to arrive tomorrow
- You will receive an email when your order is dispatched
- Any tracking codes for the consoles should go live tonight, it's normal if they don't work before tonight

Thanks so much for that info!

I just checked my order status (no sure why I haven't checked before?!) and it is 'Processing' 'Awaiting Dispatch' 'Est. Dispatch Date 03/03/17'

I know it's probably lame but I am quite (I mean very) excited!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, Nintendo Customer Services confirmed that orders marked "Estimated Dispatch 03/03/17" are actually shipped out one or two days in advance to meet the release date. Unless there are unforeseen traffic issues or whatnot, it should arrive on the 3rd.

Sorry bad joke. The thread is about an online shop. Well at least I think it is on-line only?

And yes that cable will be fine.

I had a similar worry my end this morning with Argos.co.uk status still saying "sit tight order in progress" and it still says that now, so I rang them direct to confirm my order and they confirmed it will be here tomorrow, I hope anyway but I still have my doubts for a gut reason! also I ordered Zelda & MK8 not the Zelda Limited Edition package which I found out today they have took the original of there cataloge now? which I find peculiar.

Anyone else ordered from Argos.co.uk about early January time, having issues?

Originally I ordered my Switch from game.co.uk but I cancelled the order and got a refund because a staff member on the phone at Game told me to cancel the order, if I really wanted one on the 3rd, they told me they would not get the supply in to fill most orders for the 3rd of March that's why I went with Argos and that was back on the 10th January 2017 or something like that!

Mine has now been collected by Royal Mail. Or in their words:

"Outward RDC Volumetric Acceptance"

And I thought I was a bit geeky!?

I got the Switch from GameSeek (pre-ordered it back in 2016) and paid £198.50, well, £192.34 after cashback so thinking about it just made me wish everyone would have gotten it for the same price too. £279.99 feels too much even though it's less than what the WiiU's launch price (£349.99).

Love the grey design of the Switch and have it sideways like I did with the Wii and WiiU (both packed away).

Waiting for my Pro Controller to arrive (no way in hell am I gonna use the Joy-Cons to play Zelda lol).

You did really well on the price.

I am waiting for my Pro Controller but it was meant to come by Royal Mail, as did my Switch. So I don't think it's coming today! Poor me. ha, ha. Those Joy-Cons do look small and I'm not a big guy...

Strange that you first posted in February 2017 that they were selling for £198.50.
Why the delay?
I guess your affiliated to Gameseek ?

Not affiliate by any means, I hate them when it comes to returns as they either take ages to reply or they never do. Thankfully I always pay via Paypal so I'm covered.

Back in 2016, GameSeek has the Nintendo Switch available for pre-order and anyone could order it but after the official announcement everything changed and they stopped taking pre-orders for £198.50.
