DO NOT POST THREADS ASKING WHEN THE SWITCH WILL BE HACKED OR POINTLESS SPECULATION TOPICS ABOUT HACKING THE CONSOLE. TOPICS SUCH AS THESE MAY BE CLOSED WITHOUT WARNING!

This still applies even in this section.

Is it possible to create an entrypoint to a homebrew using the Public WiFi feature?
If we simulate a Public WiFi hotspot using the tether app and create a script that can run code on the Switch so we can get an untethered homebrew.
the switch is not released, how do you want people to know?
and leave the ideas of entry points to the "hackers" and people that know about how to do it..
they know the stuff, they got knowledge, there is nothing you can contribute... it's not by throwing ideas with zero understanding about the subject, that you can help them..

the question that you asked is the equivalent of: "hey dear medics, how about using honey to cure cancer???"
or "hey stephen hawking, had you tried to use gasoline to create a black hole?"

Browserhax was using the internet browser and now we don't have an internet browser anymore we got the public wifi feature.
Since Nintendo is new to that there may be exploits left.

since that thing is new, nintendo made double checks to make sure there is not an exploit on it.
really, leave the hacking ideas to people who really understand about it...
you rather go into the medical clinic next door and say to a doctor "hey since this patient has a faulty heart, there are researches that chocolate is good for the heart, give him chocolate, he's heart will be good again"
really, this is basicallyt what you are doing...

It is so incredibly stupid to ask for hacks on a console which didn't even come out yet. What the hell is people's imagination? "Oh yeah, it's getting hacked and we already know how in advance". Uhm, no? It's like knowing the answer to exam questions in advance before seeing them.

Our best bet for Switch Homebrew right now is browser-based apps and games

oh fuckin wait

isn't that assuming it's completely unencrypted?

This is definitely not a speculation no no no! This is very legit and should not be removed..../s

This is a speculation, how do you even know the Public WiFi works without even having a look at the console itself???!!! Are you from the future?????!!!

This is pointless until March 3, or more sceptically when a hacker decides to check this part.
