Number 1: What can you do with developer mode on UNITINFO?
Number 2: Can you dual-boot 3ds custom firmwares and if so, can someone give me a guide on how to?

1, dont use dev mode unless you know what you're doing.
2, a9lh can dual boot luma sysnand with any cfw that supports emunand 10.4 firm or higher.

I turned it on and my 3ds didn't brick so i'm counting it safe.

• Developer features:
• ErrDisp: patches ErrDisp to display debugging information on the top screen.
• UNITINFO: patches the value of CFG_UNITINFO sent to the ARM11 on boot to make applications believe they are running on a developer unit, and switches the CIA encryption to the developer one.
  This makes ErrDisp display debugging information and allows you to install and run certain system software for development units, but also prevents using the eShop, amiibo, retail-encrypted CIAs etc.
• None: doesn't apply either patch and disables the exception handlers (refer to the Other features and notes page).
