I'm looking at the switch for my next handheld I have bought every Nintendo handheld since the GBA. I'm not really digging the Nintendo switch because of the lack of launch titles I don't play Zelda games and I'm not really interested in anything else besides Mario odyssey and Minecraft. For one I know Minecraft on console is a messy world. I personally think that since there is not backwards compatibility digitally with the Wii u or even virtual console, Nintendo is setting this up to be a HUGE failure. The only thing I appreciate is that they aren't ditching their 3ds yet. This could be the only thing keeping the company alive at this point. What makes a console is not the hardware inside but the games it has. Look I get the Wii u was a massive failure but who says they can't make it better I doubt they will but personally I think the Wii u had good first party support. I mean what is preventing me from going out and buying a vita or an Xbox one S. These are much better and this is coming from a long time Nintendo customer

The switch is promising; but the amount of launch titles is concerning. The power of the console is pretty good, comparing to the Wii U. It's near to the Xbone and PS4, but not quite. I'd say hold the pitch-forks for now, and wait for people to get their hands on them. Not people demo'ing them; but, consumers.

I have had a Tegra chip in my android tablet for 5 years and that chip doesn't age well and how is the power of the switch close to the xbone and ps4

If you are not dead set of getting a Switch on launch, then you should not buy it and wait until there are enough games released that justify a purchase.

Its a new system and with new systems the launch games dont always fit everyone.
So if you cant find a launch game you like then simply wait till one comes out.
Also the word is its sold out everywhere so unless you have a preorder or going to fight your way to the store on launch day your have to wait anyways.

But the switch does have alot going for it. And onces more games start to pour in it will be a great system.

Well, Nintendo has never been about Hardware in terms of powerful; yet, they're stepping their game up little by little. They're a company about good games and content. Not poor games, that are shoved down your throat, or services. *Cough* Xbox Live, PSN, and otherwise. *Cough* ..... So, give Nintendo a break. They're basically the grandfather to the Xbox and PS series. Even to SEGA.
