Hacking PSV Windows Explorer extension

Simple VPK Icon Shell Extension
(This is a simple shell icon extension for psvita *.vpk.)

This is an explorer extension that shows icons for .vpk files, along with some moderately useful information below in the properties view.

[Features]
Display psvita vpk icon in explorer

Display vpk type (mai or vitamin)

Show warning overlay icon for unsafe eboot.bin

(unsafe eboot is not a virus,but it could access dangerous system api, use on your own risk. Please don't install unsafe vpk from Unknown sources.)

Show VPK Package info (param.sfo)

Install problem?: If you have installed vpk viewer or winrar auto open vpk when you double click on it, then you need delete association first: https://www.google.ru/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=delete file association windows 7

Installation: Download, unpack, run with admin and press install, reboot pc

Looks like you use not windows 7.

Yeah, well, you didn't specify that it was for WINDOWS 7 ONLY.

The 3DS file extension works fine in Windows 10, why wouldn't this?

It's not ONLY FOR win7, if you read link that i give you...
Because it uses exe+dll and 3ds integrated straight in registry, that's different
It's works fine in Windows 10 (i have it in main pc) and in Windows 8 too

I have Win7 x64, Win8 x32, Win10 x64

I DID check it, but excuse me for not being tech savvy enough to understand wtf it means.

You still not write what you have associated with vpk, any version of your windows, space in folder name and etc...
How i can help you friend... There guy write about not win7 and got answer + workout in other posts

OH. No. None.

\Installed .Net
\After install you was need to reboot your PC
If all of this Ok, then reinstall main dll's like net framework
Search wit regedit for .vpk (Maybe in windows you still have before associated it with .vpk)
What's more... Hmm... Try download rar of this program and in settings unblock it

.Net 4.5 is included with Windows 10.
Rebooted several times since installing Windows 10.
Turns out, 7-zip was registered to open it, though it's not a file association. Hmmm. Weird.
