Homebrew BrainDump wont load with Pokemon Sun or Moon?

Cfw luma I tried with sysnand on Luma and then on my new 3ds xl on reinand both emu and and sysnand with no luck

Use decrypt9 instead (it cans dump and decrypt from cartridge and from installed content).
Then on the pc, extract the cia with asia81 hacktool.

edit: with homebrew, so braindump, it will work with the new *hax (PASLR fix from smea https://twitter.com/smealum/status/806005522511953920), and the custom xml (https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmls)

thanks when i dumpedthe game and try using garc it wont work it says there is no data there for the mons so i think it didnt work right or the mons were moved

Yes. Decrypt9 can dump and decrypt a cia. Then, you can use your PC to extract the content (with asia81 tool pack).

Why not just update hax to 2.8 (Hold X while launching HomeBrew) then use the older version of Braindump that already dumps the ROMFS/EXEFS and just rebuild it afterwards?

i knew there was home to screenshot and l+r+down+b to exit has but i didnt know about x to update
