Hacking Help, SoftBricked Old 3DS

I turned off my 3ds while in the rxtools menu because I couldn't figure out how to exit it, and when I powered it back on it had a black screen with the light on, thus being soft-bricked as far as I know.
However when it was working the l and r buttons didn't work, so now if I try to run into recovery it doesn't work (A, Up Dpad, L & R), can I somehow fix the l and r buttons? PS: I have tried removing the sd card and blowing into the l and r slots so far.

We're you just in the RXMenu? Or did you do some other task while turning off? Try removing the battery, wait 2 minutes and then plug the battery back in, all that without charging cable attached.

Yes, make it completely powerless for some time, and then try turning it on again.

I was in the launcher, I went to the website and it loaded the .dat, then I turned it off because I couldn't go back a menu. Then when I turned it back on it was softbricked
