Hacking Bricked DS flashcart

Hello, I have a really shitty clone card that seems to have bricked. It's one of those "R4 SDHC Dual-Core SMART UPDATE" cards. It has 2015 written on it and www.r4isdhc.hk as the site. When inserted into the 3ds, it crashes homemenu. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's probably those "Shitty ones" with a built in time bomb that stops it working by 2016, try putting your 3DS clock back .

No it's legit bricked, even Decrypt9 freezes when trying to dump it

What did you do before this problem started to occur?, have you try replacing the firmware on the flashcart, did you update etc...

I think I tried using a firmware from another flashcart

This won't exactly help the op, but why does it have a "time bomb" that makes it stop working? Was this intentional to get people to buy new ones?

This is known to happen to the .hk ones. A lot of people bricked theirs trying to use ysmenu for forwarder access.

Wow. That,s the same flashcart I had when it bricked. DS Lite froze when flashcart is inserted even without microSD in it and the 3DS didn,t even read it.

I got another one which uses a DS boot exploit so it,s not usable on 3DS lmao.
Time to wait for more bootstrap save and game compatibility.

Try using TWL Loader it might work I don't know.

It works, just can't save, and certian games won't load unless there is a Ds cart inserted

Most likely not doubt anyone would bother unbricking a cheap flashcart, buy a new one and this time don't play with the firmware
