So am I right in thinking this makes Oothax and other game cartridge entrypoints completely useless given that this is usable even on the newest firmware - for free?

Probably yes, unless nintendo patched it like ironhax or something

Wait, soundhax is literally as easy as putting an .m4a on your SD card and you now have an entrypoint?

Nintendo could not be more dead.

Ah, thought so.
Do I have to wait until waithax "finishes" or can I just turn the system off? Sorry if a noob question...
you can turn it off any time. I worked on it recently to add the timer and I powered down in the middle dozens of times lol
