Sorry I'm replying so late, so what is AGB Firm and will all my other GBA titles work with it?

Nintendo uses codenames:
Dolphin - GameCube
Revolution - Wii
Cafe - Wii U
NX - Switch
AGB - GameBoy Advance
Nitro/NTR - DS
TWL - DSi
CTR - 3DS
Snake - New 3DS

The 3DS also contains DS hardware, and DS hardware contains GBA hardware. AGB FIRM loads roms onto the GBA hardware and turns it on. TWL FIRM turns on the DSi hardware.

Yes, your other roms will work with it, they won't work without it.

I keep getting this error every time i try to make cia, can anyone help me?

I realized the error i was getting was cause i had the save patch enabled when i tried to make a cia of Breath Of Fire. I disabled it and it worked. The game didn't need the save patch but the rom is unmodified. Is there possible way to tell if you do need a patch or not before creating the cia? How can you tell if the rom was patched with gbatool or even just modified at all?

Is there a program to verify genuine unmodified roms?

Yes, the program have two internal databases. If you pick an unmodified rom the program should auto-detect it in the database, and if so, the program will show you some rom info.
If the rom is modified then the program won't detect it, and that's the way to tell you if the rom is pure.

Also, I don't know which games needs to SRAM patch, it's just try and fail, but I think that the games that needs SRAM patch is commonly the EEPROM ones...

I tried it with super street fighter II Turbo revival. When i loaded the game into the program the settings changed to 8MB rom file size and EEPROM save type automatically. I selected patch save before building cia, and it gave me the error again. I did try without save patch and it built the cia but the save doesn't work. It seems when i use the save patch option it always happens, not sure why.

Do you have a 32 bit OS? Try running the injector as Administrator. Can you show/send me the whole error?

I have windows 7 64bit. I'll update this post with more info. There is much more to the details but i can't enlarge the window to show it all at once, i would have to scroll down and screenshot each segment So i included the text document of the whole error.

Last edited by Sonic Angel Knight,
When I install the cia using fbi it works without errors. But when I launch the game, it says something about sleep mode on the bottom screen and the top screen is white. After a while the warning goes away and the bottom screen goes black and the top one stays white. I have tried 2 games (Pokemon Emerald and Ruby) and this has only happened to Emerald (Ruby works fine).

Is the rom detected in the injector just after you load it? If not, try getting another rom (trimmed roms won't be detected by the injector, but should work). Also, check RTC option on the step 1 for emerald.

I have just tried this with Pokemon FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire and this is what I noticed:

FireRed/LeafGreen
-Boot times seems longer than the legit Ambassador GBA games. (I got the ambassador Games because I had a O3DS since 2 weeks after launch, transfered it to an O3DSXL and now my N3DSXL)
-When booted, everything seemed to be working
-My issue is that on FireRed, is that I always get a "The 1m sub-circuit board is not installed"

Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire
-Same issues as FireRed and Leaf Green boot times is not that big of an issue,
-I don't get the 1M Sub-Circuit board warning, but the internal battery has run dry error.

The ROMS worked on the VBA emulator, I know how to fix the battery and circuit board issues on there, but it seems like the issues comes on again on the ROM when I inject it on my N3DSXL

My N3DSXL is on Sys 11.2.0-35U with Luma3ds and A9LH installed. Any way to fix these issues?

I don't know if I am allowed to post the website I got the ROMS from, but I will say that one "paradise" site.

Thanks in advance
