I realized the error i was getting was cause i had the save patch enabled when i tried to make a cia of Breath Of Fire. I disabled it and it worked. The game didn't need the save patch but the rom is unmodified. Is there possible way to tell if you do need a patch or not before creating the cia? How can you tell if the rom was patched with gbatool or even just modified at all?
Is there a program to verify genuine unmodified roms?
I tried it with super street fighter II Turbo revival. When i loaded the game into the program the settings changed to 8MB rom file size and EEPROM save type automatically. I selected patch save before building cia, and it gave me the error again. I did try without save patch and it built the cia but the save doesn't work. It seems when i use the save patch option it always happens, not sure why.Yes, the program have two internal databases. If you pick an unmodified rom the program should auto-detect it in the database, and if so, the program will show you some rom info.
If the rom is modified then the program won't detect it, and that's the way to tell you if the rom is pure.
Also, I don't know which games needs to SRAM patch, it's just try and fail, but I think that the games that needs SRAM patch is commonly the EEPROM ones...

Possible incompatible with vc?When I install the cia using fbi it works without errors. But when I launch the game, it says something about sleep mode on the bottom screen and the top screen is white. After a while the warning goes away and the bottom screen goes black and the top one stays white. I have tried 2 games (Pokemon Emerald and Ruby) and this has only happened to Emerald (Ruby works fine).
