So it seems you can't just place coins for an hour to unlock all the items. You have to beat challenge mode. I don't give a fuck about these stupid challenges. I just want to make levels.

So I ask for a 100% save of smm3ds so I can start making levels

I've almost completed it.
Hopefully I can get it done before someone else! (:

I would say I'm about 85-88% completed with challenge mode.

You can't use another person's save file in your game. I tried that last night and told me it couldn't launch the game and that I had to "re-create" the save data.

Oh. You imported the main save data and not the ext data right? I know extdata will fail.

As long as all the items are unlocked I will take it.

Main save data is what I imported. I didn't touch ext data at all.

or dont be a lazy ass and actually play the game instead of complaining about having to beat it.
Thanks for the input.

Some people prefer to play a 100% save instead of beating the game. I don't know about you but I like to mess around with the game and not worry about beating it

I understand what you're saying, but it's pretty lame that we have to beat a bunch of levels to unlock all the assets. Some people just want to make levels.

You lose everything when using someone else's save, you get brought back to the tutorial you start when you first start the game.
different save (same system) works fine here, did you try to delete secure data and see if that would work?
