Can't there be some way to remotely access the SD card and update/change files without having to eject and insert the card ad nauseum, causing further wear and tear? Like a file explorer for the Wii U for HBL?

Well, you can use FTPiiU_Everywhere. It can access and read/write from/to the SD card.

Edit: :ninja:

Oh..huh...I'll check it out. If I can spare having to eject my SD card over and over again ( which my account for the random HBL -3 error), I think, then I can give it a shot and update the emulators for RetroArch. My bad :P

Is there a thread or download for this somewhere on the Temp? How exactly does this work? I thought FTPIIu only displayed the IP address, not actually transfer files.

Edit: http://www.wiiubru.com/appstore/#/app/ftpiiu_everywhere

I thought this was for "advanced users only" and was risky, no? Yeah, not worth it, surely there's another way?

I don't think so, you'll have to compile it from source: https://github.com/dimok789/ftpiiu/tree/ftpiiu_everywhere
In order to use it, you need to load up dimok's iosuhax that's atleast newer than November 18th, and then load ftpiiu_everywhere.
Afterwards, you simply open up an FTP client such as FileZilla using your Wii U's IP. No username, password, or port necessary.

I'd rather use normal FTPIIU as it's not for advanced users, but I'm glad that I can do this now.

Yeah, I saw that, thank goodness, I'm not using the other one for the sake of not screwing something up. I assume I need to use FileZIlla or something once I load the app?

Have you updated all the apps in the wiiu/ folder by chance and then try again?

Apologies for posting my question in this thread, just wanted to find things out, and as for the OP, @Hashtag334 have you updated all the files on your SD card by chance? Made sure the Wii U folder on the SD card had everything updated? What system menu version are you on?

i have this problem too, i'm using the HBC 1.4 and FW (the region free one) on the SD, never had a problem till today.
when i open the hombrew launcher from the browser (loadiine) it wont load and the screen freezs all white.
i tried with 2 different Sd cards with no luck.
the only thing that helped was restoring the wiiu browser but it worked a couple of times then it froze again.
any tips?
thanks
