Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

For those guys with the perma ban 002-0102&022-2812, just a warning, please don't sell your console to gamestop or any other trade in store! The only solution for you is a motherboard swap, get one over aliexpress and swap the old one with the new one. This is the only solution by now.

Hey now that's a neat idea, would the system have to be re-CFW'd all over again? Might do this for my buddy instead of letting him buy a new 3DS, I'm the one that CFW'd it for him after all.

Based on Nintendo ban history I'm still assuming the 002 is temporary and the 022 is permanent. So my guess is everyone will have NNID/Online access after 15 days but be banned from eShop indefinitely. As backwards as that sounds......

Worth a shot. I have both bans, but I was able to sign in to the website and go through the process of "download" the new Swapdoodle app, which is free. I'll see if it's on my 3DS when I get home in about an hour.

how much soldering do we have to do? rate the difficulty 1-10 for a newb to soldering but pretty good at everything else, ive always wanted to try anyways.

You don't need to solder anything, just swap it and took the flex cables in again. This can be made in about 15 minutes.

To be honest if this is all MAC bans, removing and replacing the wifi module would bypass any console bans

you could just back your save up w/JKSM and install moon & sun through freeshop or ciangel.

My bank worked before I got the 002. It was working fine when I just had the 022. It was weird, I signed into Pokemon to check my ban status and got the error message, just thought it was a communication error. Loaded my Pokebank, which loaded fine. Didn't take anything out and just turned off my DS. When I opened it again, I got the 002 everytime again. it was like I had a TINY window of escape and chose to stay Lol.

As far as I can see, those mainboards comes from US with Ver.9.2.0
