I remember reading a poster who claimed removing the wifi chip thingy and swapping it (lmao no clue with what I guess another wifi chip thingy) would give a new mac address/bypass permanently.

To add to that. If you DO buy a used console in the next few days (weeks?) PLEASE check it for bans and such before making the purchase. GameStop and the like DOES NOT check for these things, only working hardware/software.
