It likely is, but keep in mind that moving LocalFriendCodeSeed_B from an unbanned system to a banned one resolves the online play ban.

Is there a tutorial on how to do this?? I have a unbanned cfw 3ds. As long as I can get online play back that's all that matters. I could care less about my NNID or Eshop

But aren't LocalFriendCodeSeed_B regenerated in every System format? It wouldn't make sense to ban solety based on that.

I do keep a LocalFriendCodeSeed_B from before I did a system format from like 5 months ago, I wonder if restoring that file will undo the FriendList ban.

If that's true it won't solve the issue. Using tinyformat results in you being able to go on the eshop but unable to login or make a NNID still preventing you from using the eshop basically.

Unable to login to NNID, but able to play Smash Bros online, and Im not bothered about NNID so thats a plus

I don't think Nintendo would block all online functions for a temp ban. It's permant

Fake. I have been online in both systems at the same time with the same certs.db and no ban.
