I have spent the last 2 hours trying to hack my N3DS and I am frustrated.

I have followed the guide at https://plailect.github.io/Guide/get-started. I follow it step by step and then it just stops. I am stuck because it tells me that I need HomeBrew and It literally just stops half way through telling me how to do this.

I am on a New 3DS XL with 9.9.0-26U.

These are the steps I am taking.
I click the New 3DS XL Image, USA, 9.0.0 to 10.7.0 HomeBrew Launcher (No Browser)
I download the HomeBrew Starter kit and put on root of SD card.
I plan on using Ocarina of Time entry point. So before I click on oot3dhax, it says to downgrade to 9.2 on the bottom.
I then copied sysDowngrader to root of SD and updates folder from the 9.2.0 downgrade.

Then it literally tells me to "Boot in HomeBrew Launcher" Did I skip something because I have no clue how to boot HomeBrew and it doesn't tell me how.


My main goal is being able to stream the 3DS using the NTR CFW. So I am trying to do the steps to get to this point.

Any help is much appreciated.

You can use Browserhax. Just set your time to midnight and your date to 01/01/2000.

In order to downgrade you need access to homebrew. How did you plan to use sysDowngrader? Do you have access to the internet browser? (Not sure if browserhax works on your fw version, but you should test it)

One of the first pages you should see going through the guide is either Homebrew Launcher (Browser) or Homebrew Launcher (No Browser). Given that you're on 9.9.0-26U, you're able to use the Browser option (browserhax) to access the homebrew launcher.
