I know that when restoring a backup decrypt9 restore the full thing and Hourglass don't restore the Firm part where a9LH is located
But my question is do hourglass do a full backup or it also miss the Firm part
what i'm asking is if decrypt9 and hourglass will make the same 1:1 copy of the nand or if hourglass skip the firm part

in brief does flashing through a hardmod the hourglass backup will work or it won't because it misses the firm part

I think it make a 1:1 copy but restoring with hourglass9 skips restoring firm

So the copy part is the same ?
another thing once i validated the nand backup (made with decrypt9) with sha sum on hourglass and it said that the frim par was corupted or something like that but there was a "not important" or something like that in parenthese next to it, i don't remeber exactly ^^

If you have a9lh installed that is suppose to happen because it edits firm.

And also on decrypt9 what is the difference between nand backup and nand backup min size ?
i looked both and the file size is the same ^^
It should be if your using old 3ds and (i think) a model of the new 3ds with a certain nand size
