Hello,

I put cfwbooter on my SD card in the wiiu/apps folder

I put the fw.img on the root of my SD card

I went to Loadiine.ovh and booted into Homebrew Launcher

I clicked on cfwbooter

It shows the Wii U menu icon

It goes red and then says Welcome to RedNAND 00000000

It stays there. It won't do anything from there. Am I missing a step?

Thank you

Thanks for the quick response. I am using Fix94's fw img and I don't care about RedNAND. Just cfw.
Hmm strange you have the SD card set up right then how long are you leaving it on the welcome to Rednand Screen I normally see that screen for about 40 seconds before it boots back to sysnand

It's going on about 5 mins now. I am going to format the SD card and try again. I just wasn't sure if I was missing a step or something.

Did you compile the fw yourself or is it the precompiled one. People have been having problems when they compile it themselfs

You aren't using the correct fw.img. The one that says Welcome to Rednand 00000000 is the old unmodified version that only boots redNAND.
You would need to find the newer version from dimok that dumps NAND onto the SD and creates redNAND for actual CFW (sig patches), or the sysNAND WUPServer version that does not try to boot redNAND (only WUPServer, no sig patches)

You are correct. I grabbed the wrong fw from my folders. Thank you guys. Working just fine now.
